Urban Food Policy Forum: Making SNAP More Accessible

New York City Human Resources Administration (HRA) Chief of Staff Jennifer Yeaw and a panel of community respondents explore the steps HRA is taking to make it easier for eligible New Yorkers to apply for SNAP (the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, formerly known as Food Stamps).

Brady Koch, Chief Operations Officer, the Food Bank for New York City, and Maureen Lane, co-director, Welfare Rights Initiative, Hunter College will serve as respondents.

This event, sponsored by the CUNY Urban Food Policy Institute, will be held in the 9th floor Skylight Room at the CUNY Graduate Center, 365 Fifth Avenue, between 34th and 35th streets.
